A Solo Exhibition

Draw the sunset together
Add the final touch to the never ending rays
Make the sun smile
And mountains never cover the day

Set the stream free
Let the grass be green on both sides
Add a door that's always open
Without a name, like you've just woken

Where time is still as the cottage
And a shadowless tree is the second home
There on a sheet of paper I lay
Because there's nothing that I need to say

Evolution is dead. It's ghost? What ghost?

Animals evolve to adapt or they become extinct.
What about people?

We stopped evolving since we started to look like this.
For centuries we have only expanded.

Expanded in contraction.

Honesty is tight-rope walking
Ask a bystander, and he'll tell you, the walk is falling.

Humanity is looked up the dictionary
And is mugged up. Not understood.

Chivalry is a paragon of pretence
Nobody waits till the end of the sentence.

These are simple times, with no real yesterday and the same future
Where our innate nature implodes, and our new skin, is what the air adapts to.

We're making history that will not make it to the textbooks
But the pages of an unburnt novel.

The other Monroe

When she lifted her skirt
The world was hers to flirt.

She was on glamour dialysis
For her soul it was the chassis.

Damsel is reel life, distressed in real
Except her own, many-a-hearts she did heal.

The world was her pillow, its people all kinds of cotton
Yet the night was a yardley of insecurities unforgotten.

She beat her past to the finish line
And the world lost her in her prime.

The naked tree.

The naked tree.
Most elegant on Earth.
The grace of the swamp.

Estranged lover of yesterday's air.
Falling in love with today's breeze.
It's the highest honesty.

No leaves cover its nascence
and none hide the dark circles.

It is not just a manifestation.
It is God.

uncouth lover

Tree is a sky
To her dense eye

Her skirt is the wind
Home, the tropical upswing

The air has built a wall
Between her love and her fall

She tip-toes across the seven seas
In frozen time.

She’s an uncouth lover
Earth’s wild flower
Her is no ivory tower
She goes nowhere to run for cover

It’s not a big word world for her
I love you is all she can muster

Her eyes pour out the truth of her heart
Her lips, know another art

The Gods envy her
Life couldn’t take her innocence away

She opens her arms to hug the rain
In blindness, she forgets her pain

She’s an uncouth lover
Earth’s wild flower
Her is no ivory tower
She goes nowhere to run for cover

transitory not temporary

See through the bubble
Across the chair where the song sits

Listen to the rainforest smuggle nature
As God plays accomplice
In this act of divine violence

Is it mud you're sitting on
Or does the air not let you gravitate fully?
And as you levitate on the grass
As the reed holds your weight
The loss of blood rushes to your head

The sky is at your feet
Love is all around
It's peaceful as death
Customary as life

The beginning is nowehere to be seen
Guess, this is the end.

who am I

Who am I?
Am I the woman I know?
Or am I a shadow life doesn't follow?
Am I trapped in the monotonous breath?
Or am I free like the color white?
Who is it you talk to when you're talking to me?
Am I making sense or am I echoing air?
Does my mouth form words or does it deafen the silence?
How do you know me?
Did you look at me twice or did you turn your back to come back later?
Did you like my face?
Or did it camouflage with the moment?
Do you think of me?
Or am I an emotion you place on the side table before you sleep?
Do I ever make your now and then?

A content struggler

I got no money.
Yet it’s sunny.

I’m a traveller, I need no home.
I take shelter in the open, my journey is my poem.

I get my food when my lord is me-happy.
Other days he gets a little slappy.

Every unturned stone is my bed.
If not roses, I’m happy with thistle under my head.

That stream and I share the same deer.
The deer and I share the same fear.

But I make friends with the cooling air.
It takes me from here to there, without fare.

If tough days lie ahead, tougher have passed.
Finally after all these years, I have begun to last.

I’m a moment burglar.
A very content struggler.

Bound Homeward

Hurry or leave.
Waste away or grease.

Make out with the deceased.
If it is what you please.

Haven’t I told you already?
That you’re not ready?

Your will is to undo.
Your karma, to listen.

Listen to the radio.
It's blaring on the patio.

Where lush is green.
Life, a big screen.

Hold yourself and out.
Purse within, soul without.

Pursue the rabbit.
Because you’re the dog

Run off the mill.
The downslide starts at the hill.

Back by popular demand.
Now, he demands.

As the world watches.
Scalding torches.

Will you come to where you come from?
Because there’s nowhere else.

Hung High

The truth of my pain
Lies buried in the ocean of some uncertain hope

As it sleeps on the ocean bed
An unfamiliar happiness engulfs me.
It’s as comforting as unnatural

I see you far and beyond
You exist like a loss about to happen

I fear touching you
It might tell me there’s nothing to touch

I bite my lips to teach this pain a lesson
It hides its ugly face for a while
Only to strike back with a vengeance

Helpless, I let my pain
organize my thoughts
In minutes, I turn into a puppet

Held together by strings of despair
Moving aimlessly, lifelessly to tunes of regret

But someone will find me.
Soon.

The hope helps me put on a show,
For my friends who’ll never know
the difference, the change.

At the brink of acceptance

Her boundaries set her free.
Her will is, to be born again.
Her feet is the size of the earth.
Her bosom, full of the nectar of tomorrow.
Her lips move at the slightest touch of a word.
Her hair is a carnival of growth.
The silk of her skin melts in the eye of the beholder.
Her fury was severed in her sleep.
Her fingers refuse to crawl.
Her mind beholds fluidity of life.
Her body curves softly on the desert sand.

She shines like a star.

No me. Know you.

with strokes of time,
masking the seemingly erased.

the brush overdoes,
the painting act.

so painted i was,
i couldn't catch my own glimpse.

so tainted i was,
i camouflaged with the criticism.
.......................................

same. yet not.

abrupt eruption of emotions,

painted by a handicapped mind,

on a canvas previously used.

And well.
...........

i BUMPED into GOLD tonight

lines that painted the pages of yesterday
in colours so blue, red and black.

of differences once known
of unlove once felt
of commoness once uncommon
of blues once reds
of blacks once invisible.

and then, a second of the past
leapt towards me.

held my unconsciousness by the neck
before strangling it hard and dead.

from the death of nothing
rose the living.

so mighty it scared the grey
manhandled insecurity
stifled the lifeless
stripped nothingness
and blurred the darkness.

my gold found me. Once again, forever.

Two in one

those fingers serenade my being
every touch leaves a memory

with eyes that pierce my soul
he enters my mind with a silence, only i can hear

his skin reminds me of earth
dark, natural, sustaining

as he moved towards me
the earth bowed

as he came closer
closer i went to him

until an embrace found us
and our lips hugged

the world became a myth
life, mine alone

as we continued, lost
we found what we lacked.

CANVAST

abrupt eruption of emotions
painted by a handicapped mind
on a canvas previously used
and well.

With strokes of time
masking the seemingly erased,
the brush overdoes
the painting act

so painted was I,
I couldn't catch my own glimpse
so tainted was I,
I camouflaged with the criticism

But a new passion was regained
like a new leaf
somewhat touched. somewhat pure.
I was stuck.

Stuck to redraw. Restart.

the brush picked me
fate became my painter
all negativity stood still
as belief poured all over me

now no grey shall intercept my colours...

Time is a myth. Every time.

The death is a man-made device.
Yet, out of control.

To this, the lord bears witness.
Ask him, and he shall tell, he never wanted the weak, the poor, the innocent, the unborn.

But the man inside us,
Does not stop.

It keeps killing.Beginning with self.
To an endless journey of brutal murders of,
Emotions, feelings, people and else.

With no formal decree issued against it.
Its sole saviour - conscience.
Also lays efficiently abandoned in the desert of life.

Sucked of love, searching death.
And then the soul dies.

But the man inside us lives on.
Unperturbed. Undisturbed. Unwanted.

BroKen

Moments of truth get all the advantage when you are ready for acceptance

The low feeling in the pit of the stomach graduates to the heart

Where it resides in peace, while beating you to pieces

Your heart cups them, and your mind thanks this surprising substitute.

The limbs never existed, the soul skidded through the tight-bound alleys of the mind

What remains is you.

Alone. Away. Atoned.

With no heart to skip logic and no brain to skip a beat,

You decide to move on.

Rise from the living dead.

For a new-found existence. For a lesser deep meaning.

The past is now stuck in the ice as the warmth of newness consumes you.

And you prepare yourself for another death. For another time.

The Thought Karaoke: Heard Without

The sun makes up for the hours lost

The rhythm lies naked and bleeds a chance

The minutes are ruffled like the strokes of moonshine

Time is everywhere. Flying

The ashes of the current sway in the arms of debris of bygones

This too shall pass.

Never gOne wiTh The winD

Beware the existence
of a suspending emotion

What might seem lulled
is really lurking under a beat

The heart as its abode
it lives along the ignorance

Once thought buried,
it once again rises to conquer

Conquer the weak will.

You surrender, like you did the first time
the submission brings back a life once lived

The blend of the past
seeks an unclogged vent

Finally coinciding with a pearly ocean.
